On August 27, 2014, Invest LA Regional Center was very excited to receive the first I-829 approval by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). The investor invested in the Colorado at Lake Phase I Project at the end of 2010, and obtained the permanent green card within 4 years. Colorado at Lake Project is now opened and operated under the branding dusitD2 constance pasadena.
Colorado at Lake Phase I project is partially opened now under the name dusitD2 constance pasadena. The hotel part was completed by July 2014 and had soft opening on September 2014. The retail spaces and parking garage are still under construction and will be completed by year 2015.

In 2013, Invest LA Regional Center President Mr. William Chu was appointed by California Governor Brown to the California-China Advisory Board for a 2-year term to provide stewardship over the growth of trade and investment between California and China.
In year 2013, The Playhouse District Association (PDA) membership voted William Chu of Invest LA Regional Center as the chairman.
Mr. William Chu was reelected to serve as the chairman of The Playhouse District Association (PDA) in year 2014.

Over the last few months, the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has been running 6-8 months on review of I-526 petitions submitted by EB-5 investors. However, one of Invest L.A. Regional Center's EB-5 investors was granted the fastest I-526 approval compared to the previous approvals received. The investor's I-526 petition was approved in 28 days. Shortly after, the I-526 petitions submitted for the project in the last 3 months were also approved. Invest L.A. strongly believes that the investors who has yet to submit their I-526 petition will receive I-526 approval just as fast should there be no request for evidence on the investor's source of fund.
EB-5 investors of the Colorado at Lake EB-5 project Phase I continue to receive I-526 approvals.
Under Invest L.A. Regional Center, EB-5 investors who invest in the Phase I of the Colorado at Lake Project continue to receive I-526 approval while many petitions for other regional center's projects were put on halt. There are more than forty I-526 approvals received today. Many of these approvals were received within 3 months after submission. The fastest approval was granted in 28 days. While there are still some petitions undergoing USCIS's review, Invest L.A. Regional Center is confident that they will receive approval soon.
Colorado at Lake Phase IIA has been officially launched for EB-5 investor subscription. Phase IIA of the Colorado at Lake Project is an expansion of the Phase I hotel/retail development. It consists of the boutique hotel room addition, restaurant and rooftop restaurant/bar space addition, and construction of additional parking stalls. All 26 available investment units have been fully subscribed.
Park Place EB5, LP has been fully subscribed by EB-5 investors. Park Place EB5, LP invests Capital to Phase I of the Colorado at Lake project in the City of Pasadena. Colorado at Lake is a large mixed-use commercial project that includes hotel, restaurants, retail spaces, and parking structure. Phase I of the project contains a 5-Star historic boutique hotel with 136 rooms, over 20,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space, and a parking garage with 125 stalls. Park Place EB5, LP offered 50 investment units to EB-5 investors to raise $25 million for the project construction cost.
